Tuition: $89 for the live audio conference (includes live and 6 months access to the archive)
Through this audio, you will explore a variety of trust accounts including Uniform Transfer to Minors, totten or informal trusts, Conservatorships and Guardianships, and Court-ordered or blocked trusts.
Note: Trust and account ownership issues are based on state law and you should check with your state league or your own legal counsel for state specific issues and requirements.
For these 4 types of trusts, you will review:
- Who are the parties and what are their roles?
- Who must be a member in order to open or establish the particular type of account?
- Which account agreement do we use?
- What taxpayer identification number is required?
- Who can open, who can close, and who can transact on the account?
- How is share insurance calculated?
Who should attend This audio is beneficial for frontline staff and anyone responsible for trust accounts at your credit union.
Is a recording available for purchase? Yes, you can share the information with other staff by ordering a recording of the audio conference (even if you couldn't attend the live call). Archives will be available within 24 hours of the live audio. Click here to register for the archived version.
