2009 CUNA Scholarship OverviewIn difficult economic times, credit unions often look to cut expenses. Many discuss whether to decrease or eliminate training. This proves to be a vital mistake, rendering the credit union at risk of noncompliance or employee turnover. These risks are generally much more expensive than the actual cost of a training program. Through our training programs, CUNA can help credit unions remain compliant with state and federal regulations and increase employee productivity. CUNA is helping credit unions keep their staff well-trained in these tough economics times by offering a scholarship to cover tuition fees for CUNA Schools & Conferences.* To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Application ProceduresTo ensure your application is considered, the completed application and supporting materials must be received as a package to CUNA at least 45 days prior to the start of the program for which scholarship funds are being requested. Scholarships will be awarded based on the financial need and application quality.
