Board members and volunteers can earn 4 credits toward the CUNA Volunteer Certification Program (Level 2, Safety and Soundness) to earn your Certified Credit Union Volunteer designation by successfully completing the optional exam. INSTRUCTORS Woody Hodgdon, CUCE, BSACS Woody is a Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE), Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS), and is the national compliance manager for Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union (formerly HP Employees FCU) in Palo Alto, California. Addison Avenue FCU serves employees of Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies, Philips Electronics, and several other related employers in the United States and Puerto Rico. Prior to accepting his current job, Woody spent 17 years at HP Rocky Mountain Federal Credit Union in Loveland, Colorado which eventually merged with the other HP credit unions to form Addison Avenue FCU. He spent three years as an agent for CUNA Mutual in northern Colorado prior to starting his management career with credit unions. Woody has been involved in credit union management, operations, marketing, and compliance issues for more than 30 years. He is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School in Pomona, California. He is a 1980's graduate of CUNA's Regulatory Compliance School and attends annual update sessions to stay current. Woody has lectured to many groups about bankruptcy, the Americans with Disabilities Act, financial counseling, home banking, and risk-based lending. Woody is a charter member of the National Credit Union Institute and earned the Dean's List with Highest Honors designation. Roger Blake Bill Klewin Bill is vice president and staff director of the Lending Lab in the Lending Services Enterprise for CUNA Mutual Group. He joined CUNA Mutual Group in 1986 as assistant counsel specializing in consumer legislation and consumer lending. Before joining CUNA Mutual Group, Bill maintained a private practice, concentrating on commercial and business law. Bill is a regular contributor to Credit Union Magazine on lending and regulatory compliance and is a frequent speaker at credit union conferences. Bill is a member of both the Wisconsin and American Bar Associations. Jane Pannier Jane is the general counsel of REALTORS Federal Credit Union. Her experience includes being a partner with the Rochdale Group and EVP with Counter Intelligence Associates where she specialized in consulting and compliance training. She was also the senior compliance counsel for the National Association of Federal Credit Unions and director of their regulatory compliance department. Jane is a former credit union CEO and has held various credit union executive positions. David Reed David Reed, founder of CU Doctor, has nearly two decades of collections and bankruptcy experience representing both debtors and creditors. He is a former bankruptcy attorney, vice president, and general counsel for a large credit union. ARCHIVE eSCHOOL OVERVIEW Archived CUNA Webinars enable staff to pick up new skills and keep up with daily responsibilities. Viewing a archived webinar will enable you to see and hear a presentation, questions of the instructor, and refer to handouts. You need only a computer with an Internet connection and speakers. If you have a computer projection screen, it's easy to provide this training to a whole roomful of staff! Use our 90- to 120-minute archived webinars as part of a full day of training by gaining knowledge and ideas at the webinar, then spend some time discussing how the new information applies to your credit union. A single session archived webinar will be made available usually within 48 hours of the live event and a two session archived webinar will be made available within 48 hours of the conclusion of the second session. By registering for this archived webinar, you will receive unlimited access until the end date listed above. No access to this archived webinar is provided after the end date listed above. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations received in writing (via fax 608-231-4327) before December 16, 2009 are eligible for a refund of the amount paid minus a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellation requests received on or after December 16, 2009 or for registrations received on or after December 16, 2009.
