ABOUT THIS ESCHOOL
The ability to detect problems early and set a workout plan that allows the member the best opportunity to recover while mitigating potential loss is a challenge all lenders will face. This eSchool will provide you with the tools needed to identify and work with member businesses that are facing difficulty. Detection of issues and setting a plan in place are key issues in the management of the loan portfolio.

This eSchool will provide a methodical approach to early identification of issues involving liquidity and efficiencies, two precursors to financial problems for many businesses. The next phase, establishing a workout plan, requires an understanding of loan documentation and the legal steps that can be taken to protect the credit union from loss. The combination of financial analysis, loan structuring and recovery form the basis of the loan workout process.

After attending this program, you will be able to:
  • Identify key leading indicators of problem loans
  • Identify changes in risk
  • Establish a workout plan
  • Evaluate internal and external risk factors
  • Minimize lender liability issues
