INSTRUCTORSTerri Miracle Terri Miracle is the community relations manager for California Coast Credit Union in San Diego, CA. When her grandmother offered her 25 cents an issue for her news magazine many years ago, young Terri thought, "If I can do what I love and make some money, that would be great!" Wordsmithing ever since, professional Terri has worked in marketing for companies from AAA to IBM. Her adventures include developing successful bond measures for school districts and public health agencies, creating award-winning campaigns for ad agency clients, and freelancing for newspapers and magazines. She has hosted her own regional TV talk show on community issues, and frequently appears on local news programs as a financial guest. The past 10 years have been filled with spreading the written (and spoken) word about credit unions from the lunchroom to the classroom to the boardroom, or anywhere people will stand still long enough to listen. Career highlights include touring Johannesburg, South Africa on a business scholarship and being levitated by David Copperfield. Josh Jones Josh is the manager of young adult programs for the Credit Union National Association's (CUNA) center for personal finance. He is responsible for planning, directing, analyzing, initiating, and managing CUNA's young adult/generation Y outreach efforts. Prior to joining CUNA, Josh began his credit union career with the Association of Corporate Credit Unions, as program coordinator. There he was responsible for the day-to-day association operations, print and online communications, and conference planning and management. In 2004, Josh earned the Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation after completing the National Credit Union Foundation's CUDE program. He was selected to speak about the role of the corporate credit union network to the 2005 CUDE class. Josh has served with the financial literacy group Americans for Consumer Education and Competition and has experience with groups ranging from college students to credit union executives and government officials.
