ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Face it...Americans do strange things with their money. They don't know how to effectively manage it, and their inability results in head games, avoidance, and other tactics to avoid the truth. Americans are not saving and they're amassing debt at an uncontrollable speed. Attend this webinar to learn how your credit union can join forces with other credit unions to understand and implement the Filene i3 Initiative - The Savings Revolution!

The Savings Revolution is more than just a program, it's a call for action to change the way members think about their finances, and save money. It's entirely scalable for credit unions across the nation, and provides an opportunity for the movement to step up to the challenge of educating members and influence a change in behavior.

During this webinar, your credit union team will hear about:
  • The Savings Challenge through one credit union's efforts to invoke a community savings revolution through a reality-show style effort
  • The nuts and bolts of how the program works including tips and lessons learned
  • Current updates on how the program is working and plans for 2008
  • Exciting news about a partnership with Wesabe and how the Internet will play a pivotal role in taking the message to our members nationwide
  • Information and how-to's for your credit union to implement the program in your market

After this webinar, you can expect to:
  • Have the tools and materials to comfortably sell the program to credit union management teams and boards of directors
  • Demonstrate the scalability of the program for any credit union, regardless of size
  • Encourage as many credit unions as possible to consider taking part in this effort to create a nationwide savings revolution; to grab our roots by the bootstraps and do what we do best.

This is just one of many CUNA webinars designed for credit union CEOs, senior management teams, and other executives as they prepare for the future business needs of their credit unions. This webinar will be approximately one hour and includes a question and answer session at its conclusion.

WEBINAR OVERVIEW
CPD Webinars enable staff to pick up new skills and keep up with daily responsibilities. Just like in face-to-face classes, students see and hear a presentation, ask questions of the instructor, and refer to handouts. You need only a speakerphone and computer with Internet connection. And if you have a computer projection screen, it's easy to provide this training to a whole roomful of staff!

Use our webinars as part of a full day of training. Gain knowledge and ideas at the webinar, then spend some time discussing how the new information applies to your credit union.

CPD Webinars use WebEx to provide an interactive and convenient online learning environment. Whether you are a first time WebEx user, or simply need a refresher, take a short tour of WebEx to help you get the most from CPD Webinars. You'll learn how to effectively interact with the presenter and your peers during live webinars.
