ABOUT THIS WEBINAR
Stay compliant and up-to-date on general operations regulations! This two part webinar will cover the regulations contained in the Level 1 RegTraC General Operations Regulations module. You will learn the important aspects of each of these regulations and be prepared to take the General Operations Regulations exam. This exam is one of the 5 exams required to obtain the CUNA Compliance Achievment Award.

As part of your tuition you will receive the Level 1 RegTraC General Operations Regulations module and 5 complimentary codes giving access to CPDonline. This is where the assigned prework and the Level 1 RegTraC exam can be accessed. The sessions will prepare students for the exam.

This two part webinar series will cover the following regulations from the RegTraC Level 1 General Operations Regulations module:

  • Right to Financial Privacy Act
  • Bank Secrecy Act
  • IRS Reporting and Withholding
  • NCUA Privacy Regulations
  • Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
  • Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN)

This webinar is beneficial for CU frontline staff, board of directors, and all CU staff members affected by the individual regulations.

INSTRUCTORS
Kimberly Bohannon
As the League's vice president of compliance and risk management, Kim analyzes laws and regulations pertaining to the credit union industry and provides guidance to the credit unions on how to properly implement those laws. She trains more than 500 staff members every year in Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations. Kim began her credit union career with Navy Federal Credit Union. In 1996 she moved to First Carolina Corporate Credit Union (FCCCU), and has been with the North Carolina Credit Union League for 13 years. Kim holds the Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) and Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist designations, and is also a member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators.
