There are certainly similar themes in what recent designees say about their CCUE experience, as you'll soon see. If you have a testimonial. Share your stories and comments.

"I just recently celebrated my 24th anniversary of working with State Employees’ Credit Union. I am grateful to SECU for enabling me the opportunity to participate in the Certified Executive Program. Receiving both the CCUE designation and the Certified Lending Specialist certification through the successful completion of its comprehensive and informative course structure is one of the real highlights of my career! The CEP gave me a sense of renewal, personally and professionally, for it further validated why those of us in the Credit Union Industry strive to do the right thing in the right way, bolstering our call to serve in “people helping people”!

Thank you CUNA for your wonderful support and for allowing me to be a part of such a treasured group of Credit union professionals! I am definitely an ambassador for the Certified Executive Program."

Robert L. Allen, CCUE
Senior Loan Officer
State Employees’ Credit Union
Wilmington, NC

"Receiving my CCUE designation has allowed me to grow and move forward into more challenging roles within the credit union that my not have otherwise been available to me. I am pleased that SECU treats the CCUE designation as an equivalent to a bachelor’s degree as I have an associate degree, but did not pursue the bachelor’s degree due to the birth of my son. To me, one of the most important assets of the CCUE is the ability to take self-study courses. This allowed me to further my career with the credit union while still having time for my family as well. The program has provided valuable insight in several areas including credit union history, finance, and management which has enabled me to better serve our members, mentor fellow employees’, and improve my level of confidence and performance. I am proud of my accomplishment of becoming a CCUE designee through the well-respected Certified Executive Program along with having the opportunity to be a part of the credit union philosophy of “people helping people."
Laurie Fayer, CCUE
Loan Processor
State Employees’ Credit Union
Pittsboro, NC

"The credit union movement has a superb way of recognizing the very talented amongst us. It is through designation as a Certified Credit Union Executive. This program is one that tests the many skills needed to succeed in today's credit union environment and has been recognized as such by professionals everywhere. When credit union boards are looking to differentiate between good candidates, the Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) is something I would encourage them to consider. It is tangible proof that the individual has the knowledge and professionalism required to help any credit union meet its goals."
Dick Ensweiler, CCUE
Chief Executive Officer
Texas Credit Union League

"I have always been a seeker of knowledge and the Certified Executive Program gave me the road to follow to advance myself both personally and professionally. With so many different topics to choose from, the knowledge a person can receive is endless. I have already put several of the subjects I studied to work. It definitely takes a commitment to see this program through but the rewards are endless."
Kerry Hayes, CCUE
Chief Financial Officer
GPM Credit Union

"What an enriching experience the Certified Executive Program is! I was inspired by several CCUEs I work with and greatly admire. I can’t imagine a more fulfilling opportunity for personal growth. The courses were relevant and practical. I am able to continually apply what I learned. It has revitalized my everyday interactions with members and renewed my sense of dedication to the credit union movement. I strongly encourage others to seize this opportunity."
Joanne Koweil, CCUE
Branch Supervisor
John Deere Community Credit Union

"Learning is a never-ending endeavor. The comprehensive CEP courses covered pervasively every credit union operational aspect. It heightened my commitment to the philosophy, ideals, and principles of the credit union movement. I am grateful to Lee M. Hancock, President/CEO of HUD FCU. He was my leader and coach."
Evelyn D. Tafalla, CCUE
Marketing Director/Administrative Assistant
HUD Federal Credit Union

"Obtaining the CCUE and CFSP designations has been a wonderful experience. The knowledge I have gained from the two designations will be helpful as I continue my career at GECU of El Paso. I look forward to sharing the knowledge I have obtained and encouraging others to go through the Certified Executive Program.”"
Alex D. Rascon, CCUE, CFSP
Assistant Branch Manager
Government Employees Credit Union of El Paso

"Obtaining the CCUE designation is an accomplishment that I am extremely proud of. Being a Certified Credit Union Executive in a field that helps so many people is an achievement well worth obtaining. These courses have taught me how to properly meet the needs of our members in a way that is in their best interest. The knowledge I have gained is something that I can carry with me throughout my career. We work in a dynamic field in that our members own the credit union. Ensuring their best interest is a must. This program has enabled me to make sure my members come first!"
