  Doug Benzine

Doug Benzine, vice president of research and advisory services at Credit Union National Association, is responsible for leading the development and delivery of CUNA's market research and consulting services. He has been assisting credit unions with their strategic initiatives for the last six years, from operational improvement to technology needs. He also has 15 years of experience as a financial services consultant for KPMG Peat Marwick (now Bearing Point).


  Chris Braccia

Chris is the director of product marketing, retail solutions group for Harland Financial Solutions. In his prior banking career, Chris was one of the first users of MCIF (Marketing Customer Information File) technology. Before joining Harland, Chris held positions as marketing director, research analyst, and sales manager in mutual savings banks. Chris is a frequent speaker at financial services conferences.


  John Godwin

John is vice president of Business Development/Strategic Alliances at MECU of Baltimore. John has been with MECU for over six years. In his business development role, his department has overseen two successful mergers, brought on over 200 new SEGs and over 12,000 new potential members.

John is the former CEO of Family Alliance Federal Credit Union in White Marsh, MD and earned his designation as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) in 2007.


  Stacey Hanke

Stacey is an executive consultant, author, and speaker with expertise providing individuals the skills to influence others to take action. As a coach, she has provided customized instruction for more than 4,000 individuals worldwide including Coca-Cola Enterprises, Deloitte, Leo Burnett, and Hewlett Packard. Stacey is a featured author in the book Conversations On Successwith Jack Canfield, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Soul. She is also an instructor of "Executive Presentation Skills" for MBA students attending DePaul University, Chicago and serves on the small business panel for USA Today.


  Becky McCrary

Becky is called the Carol Burnett of credit unions. She is a nationally recognized expert on member service and relationship networking and has been speaking professionally for years. She spent over 20 years in the financial services industry, experiencing almost every aspect of credit union operation. She has the honor of having been named Credit Union National Association's (CUNA) business development professional of the year. Becky is a professional member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and president of the Carolinas Chapter. She inspires individuals to give great service, build lasting relationships, and have more fun.


  Claudine Oriani

Claudine Oriani has been involved in adult education assessment, design, and delivery for the past 25 years, 15 of which have been spent in the credit union industry. Her thought-provoking presentations on marketing/branding, employee development, team building, leadership, strategic planning, service, and financial literacy have received superior marks from thousands of participants. Claudine once performed as a stand-up comedian and often infuses her presentations with humor. On this subject, she states: "Research has quantified the link between laughter and learning retention, so there's a method to my madness."


  Jeff Rendel

Jeff is president of Rising Above Enterprises, and offers a wealth of knowledge from his experience in the financial services marketplace. In his current position, he works with associations and professionals who want greater professional growth, as well as financial services providers who want deeper market penetration. His mission is to develop excellent leaders – in life, on the job, for your members, and for your credit union. Jeff has held such positions as federal regulator, financial executive, and congressional lobbyist.
