SEMINAR OVERVIEWThrough this seminar you will discuss the different issues that may result in money conflicts, examine how to deal with members who are involved in an addiction situation, and identify retirement planning alternatives.

Money Conflicts
- Examine how family issues can be the cause of money conflicts
- Learn to identify and assist your members to work through money conflicts
- Discuss the challenges involved with separation, divorce, and blended families
- Explore the money conflicts associated with members who are self-employed
- Understand the money challenges for members who rely on tips, commissions, or seasonal employment as their main source of income
Dealing with Members Who Have Addictions
- Explore the financial consequences of addictions
- Identify the signs of various addictions
- Examine the implications of working with members who have an addiction
- Help your members achieve financial stability when spouses have an addiction
Retirement Planning
- Identify current myths regarding retirement planning
- Examine retirement planning alternatives including 401(k), 403(b), IRA, SEP, and SIMPLE IRA plans

She balances the emotional and psychological aspects of money with the financial facts and has helped thousands of clients achieve financial health. Connie is frequently interviewed by the local and national media concerning personal finance, psychologically sensitive money management and investment strategies, and the connection between money and emotions for individuals and couples.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND This seminar is beneficial for credit union staff who work in financial counseling, collections, or lending, as well as other staff who are committed to helping members gain control of their financial future.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations received in writing (via fax 608-231-4327) before the end of business on November 29, 2009 are eligible for a refund of the amount paid minus a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellation requests received after November 29, 2009. Substitutions are accepted anytime prior to the start of the program at no additional cost. Simply fax event and contact information, listing the new participant and who they will be replacing. Cancellation fees do not apply for free or complimentary programs.
