St Pete Beach, FL

ABOUT THIS EVENT

If you take a snapshot of American debt, the photograph is alarming. Recent statistics from the Federal Reserve estimates debt levels of $18,654 per household, not including mortgage debt.

This training will help you discover ways to help members prevent and resolve financial problems. You'll also have the opportunity to earn your Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor certification. Or you can simply attend the programs to expand your knowledge and skills in financial counseling.

Throughout the schools you will:

  • Understand the underlying causes of financial difficulties for members
  • Learn the best practices for helping members prevent and resolve financial problems
  • Examine different ways members can control and monitor expenses
  • Improve your communication skills for financial counseling sessions
  • Learn how to design a financial counseling program

Earn recognition as a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor
Testing will be offered for students who wish to pursue the certification. You can review and test at the end of each day or choose to take proctored exams at a later date. To achieve certification, you must successfully complete the exams for both Parts.
