CUNA Certified Financial Counselor School: Advanced
|

ABOUT THIS EVENT
A recent CU360.cuna.org article reports that no demographic group is immune from delinquency: 14% of households with an income of more than $100,000 say they're delinquent, and 13% of households whose mortgage is paid off also have at least one bill 30 or more days overdue. Credit unions are seeing more and more members who are experiencing financial difficulties because they lack the knowledge or understanding of how to manage their finances and debt level.
Hear from industry experts and network with peers to better your ability to help your members reach their financial goals. All credit union staff who work in financial counseling, collections, and loan departments should attend to stay current on financial counseling practices.
Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor Recertification
Maintain your Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation by getting recertified every three years. This school is designed to meet the recertification requirement. If you choose to recertify, you will receive a review workbook at registration. On Thursday afternoon, the recertification test will be administered immediately following a group review session.
