ABOUT THIS EVENT

Community credit unions have great opportunities for growth, and they provide the best opportunity to bring credit union service to every resident of the country. But "business as usual" will not make it happen. To succeed, your marketing, products, delivery systems, pricing, and service culture must be adapted to fit your community. The theme of this year's conference is Don't Just Do It, Do It Different, aimed at credit unions that are inspired to shake off the status quo and try something new.

Whether your credit union is considering a change to a community charter or has had one for years, this conference will be a valuable learning experience. As an added highlight, the Community Credit Union of the Year Award will be presented as part of the program.

ENTER THE 2008 COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION OF THE YEAR AWARDS! This prestigious award honors a community credit union that exemplifies the ideals of the credit union movement while serving as a positive influence in its field of service. The award was originally established in 2004 under the auspices of the former National Association of Community Credit Unions. The winning credit union will be selected for its success in membership services, community impact, and financial services impact. Entries are due August 22, 2008.

PRIOR YEAR AWARD WINNERS The First Annual Community Credit Union of the Year Awards were awarded to GFA Federal Credit Union in the $250 million or less in assets category and Redwood Credit Union in the over $250 million in assets category. CANCELLATIONS Cancellations received in writing (via fax 608-231-4327) before the end of business on September 29, 2008 are eligible for a refund of the amount paid minus a $200 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellation requests received after September 29, 2008. Substitutions are accepted anytime prior to the start of the program at no additional cost. Simply fax event and contact information, listing the new participant and who they will be replacing. Cancellation fees do not apply for free or complimentary programs.
