ABOUT THIS EVENT
Disasters come in many forms and we've seen our share again this past year. Join your credit union peers and learn what has changed in 2009. Also, talk to your business solution providers at this year's vendor exposition. This event is in conjunction with the CUNA Technology Council. 
New this year! Breakout sessions will be offered both Monday and Tuesday afternoons allowing you to customize your training. Breakout sessions include IT focused sessions and operations focused sessions.
Through this conference you will:
- Identify the critical steps you need to consider when you are involved in a merger
- Find out what NCUA examiners will be looking for when they come to your credit union
- Examine the field of traditional data backup and the numerous problems you can run into
- Learn how to define strategies, plans resources, and discuss how to develop a workable approach to meeting your credit union's technology recovery needs
- Learn how to mitigate your potential disaster risk
- Get a hands on look from a credit union IT peer about their experience setting up a Rapid Recovery Site for their IT operations
- Explore virtual servers, virtual desktops, and virtual applications for real disasters with pretend recovery plans

The last day for cancellations was August 9, 2009. Substitutions are accepted anytime prior to the start of the program at no additional cost. Simply fax event and contact information, listing the new participant and who they will be replacing. Cancellation fees do not apply for free or complimentary programs.
