Join us for this half-day workshop on key financial components that all credit union staff and board members should understand. Take a guided tour through asset-liability management and economic issues for credit unions. Practice making decisions for your credit union based on different scenarios that are affected by economic trends.

By successfully completing the optional exam, you can earn 4 credits for the CUNA Volunteer Certification Program (Level 2, Safety and Soundness) toward your Certified Credit Union Volunteer designation.

Registration Fee, Attendee: $395 per person

Affiliation with CUNA/League is required for attendance.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Designed for volunteers and staff at all levels of credit union management who wish to develop expertise in understanding ALM and the economy.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations received in writing (via fax 608-231-4327) before the end of business on July 30, 2008 are eligible for a refund of the amount paid minus a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for cancellation requests received after July 30, 2008. Substitutions are accepted anytime prior to the start of the program at no additional cost. Simply fax event and contact information, listing the new participant and who they will be replacing. Cancellation fees do not apply for free or complimentary programs.

SHUTTLE AND AIRPORT INFORMATION
Chicago O'Hare International Airport is 20 miles from the Magnificent Mile, approximately 40-45 minutes. The cost of a taxi is $35 one-way.

Midway Airport is 10 miles to the Magnificent Mile, approximately 20-25 minutes.
