  Andy Janning

"Build an entire training department and corporate university from scratch."

That was the one-sentence challenge FORUM Credit Union gave Andy back in 1998 when he was hired as their first full-time training professional. After eight years, over 100 new training courses, nearly $700 million in asset growth, three corporate universities, CUNA's 2003 Training Professional of the Year Award, and Training Magazine's 2007 Training Top 125 List, Andy and his team are just getting warmed up.

As FORUM's assistant vice president of training and quality service, Andy oversees the nationally-recognized corporate university "Motivate U." He uses his 17-plus years of financial services experience to develop the skills and talents of credit union employees, so they can blow away the expectations of their members and peers.

  Dave Meier

One of the world's leading advocates of the need for transforming and enhancing learning throughout our culture, Dave is director of The Center for Accelerated Learning in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and author of the industry best-seller, The Accelerated Learning Handbook. Over the past 20 years, he has trained more corporate training professionals in accelerated learning methods than any other person worldwide.

  Margaret N. Morford

Margaret is president for The HR Edge, Inc., an international management consulting and training company. Her clients have included Time Warner, Sara Lee Foods, Home and Garden Television, Nationwide Insurance, NAPA Auto Parts, U.S. Marine Corps, Fox Broadcasting, The Peabody Hotel, and various local and state governments.

Previous to owning her own company, Margaret was senior vice president of human resources for a national consulting firm out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She has worked as an attorney, specializing in employment law, as well as been vice president of human resources for three large companies. She is often quoted as a business expert in newspapers across the country including The Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, and USA Today and appears regularly on local ABC, CBS, and Fox television affiliates. She is the author of the video Running with the Big Dogs – How to Make HR a Strategic Player and the recently-published book, Management Courage – Having the Heart of a Lion.

  Blaine Rada

Blaine is a customer training manager for CMG Mortgage Insurance Company. In a typical year, he facilitates close to 100 training workshops for over 2,000 participants, in both live and webinar formats. Blaine joined CMG MI in 1997, following eight years with PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. He is a faculty member of the CUNA Residential Mortgage Lending School and a member of the American Society for Training and Development and the National Speakers Association. Blaine was named "America's Greatest Thinker" in 2005 by winning the Great American Think-Off, a national philosophy competition. His writing has been published in Conscious Choice, a Chicago-area magazine.

  Rory Rowland, CCUE

Rory served as president of two credit unions and is a Certified Credit Union Executive. He is a business consultant and dynamic seminar leader specializing in programs on lending, technology, leadership, and communications skills. Rory uses his communications skills and credit union knowledge to help others in the movement be more effective.

Rory has presented his high-energy, fun, and humorous programs in all 50 states over the past eight years, as well as in Canada and Mexico. Rory is continually one of the most highly-rated speakers at state and national associations throughout the country, including many of the credit union league conferences.
