Pre-Conference Workshop)
Young Member Gallery
You are the artists at the opening session
Hmmm. What would the ideal young member look like? What about the not-so-perfect young member? In this fun and fast-paced session, teams will compete to create their portraits. Literally. Your team will explore artistic answers to questions like: What makes a young member "perfect?" What mistakes does the not-so perfect member make? The portraits you create will be examined--and adapted--throughout the conference. We'll provide art supplies and some young adults for inspiration. Artistic talent not required. Creativity, humor and ability to wow the judges (conference sponsors) recommended. Texas-style beverages sponsored by Texas Dow Employees Credit Union.
Conference weaver LeAnn Achtenberg starts the day with networking and launches the morning session.

Know what teens are doing now and what they're thinking about doing next. This presentation will use the music, visuals and voices of teens to tell their story. Small groups will discuss the information and brainstorm how it can be used back on the job to better deliver financial education and to create financial products and services targeted to teenagers.
Networking box lunch
