ABOUT THIS EVENT

The sky is the limit when you're a Certified Credit Union Volunteer.
Raise the bar at your credit union by participating in the most comprehensive volunteer certification program in the movement. You will get the overview you need and the details critical to your duties, PLUS earn your Certified Credit Union Volunteer (CCUV) designation.

Start your learning experience with the Pre-Conference Workshop which is a prerequisite for the CUNA Volunteer Certification Program, then you're ready to choose which learning track is right for you. If you're uncertain which area is ideally suited for your volunteer efforts, we'll help you select the right track and courses.

Choose from two tracks:

  • Board of Director: Governance, Strategic Planning, Safety & Soundness, CEO Oversight, and Board Operations & Development

  • Supervisory Committee: CU Knowledge & Committee Governance, Annual Audit Requirements, Risk Assessments/Audit Plan, Internal Audit, and Board Operations & Development

Can't attend the live school? Get your designation through the CUNA Volunteer Certification Program Self-Directed Option! The self-directed option provides an opportunity for volunteers to earn their CCUV designation with learning activities of their choice. Each area of study includes several learning activity choices, and choices are updated regularly. There is no time limit for completing the CCUV designation. Once enrolled, at least three credits must be completed annually to remain active. If there is no activity for one year, the enrollment fee is forfeited and re-enrollment is required. Learn more.
