Pre-Conference Workshop: Compliance Fundamentals for Your Board
Compliance is becoming increasingly important at all levels of the credit union. Examiners are randomly asking front-line staff about Bank Secrecy Act issues and their training on the topic. It seems that the board could be next in line for those questions. Keeping up to date with key compliance will help the board maintain its course and progress. If the buck stops with the board, then awareness of compliance issues must start there.
With this workshop you'll:

• See an overview of major regulations from A-Z
• Get a basic understanding of the major regulations that affect your credit union
• Be able to identify the regulations that impact your job at the credit union
• Review regulations from an employer's day-to-day perspective and develop a better understanding of what employees can and cannot say to your members
• Learn the potential consequences of "non-compliance"

This workshop is part of the CUNA Volunteer Institute school.

The above rates are ALL-INCLUSIVE, per room, per night. All rates are in US Dollars. Rates are applicable three days prior and three day after group dates, based on availability. Children under age 4, when sharing a room with parents, are complimentary. Children between the ages of 4 and 17, when sharing a room with parents, are $42.00 USD per child, per day.

• All non-motorized water sports such as sailboats, kayaks, and paddleboats
