How to Win an ELLy Award Archived Webinar
This is your opportunity to discuss what the judges value, identify how each category is critiqued, and learn how to prepare your submission to stand out in a crowd!

No credit union is too small to get an ELLy! This year, entries will be judged according to credit union asset size. Entries by credit unions with an asset size less than $250 million will be judged in their own division. This means more potential for recognition to all credit unions!

Entries are due August 1, 2008.

2007 ELLy Award Highlights

AWARD CATEGORIES - For both asset size divisions, First Place and Merit Awards will be presented in six categories, recognizing excellence in training.

Chi Pi Delta X II Award

This award is presented for the best development of a Credit Union University and its effect on staff learning and performance, utilizing CUNA Center for Professional Development’s products as the foundation.

Coach Award

Not only do credit unions change their members' lives through money management, they change their employees’ lives through career development. A good employee training program can change a person’s life. Demonstrate how trainers changed a person's career and life through education, mentoring, and coaching. Consider how the employee has been impacted by the help of the credit union’s training program or trainers. This entry can be submitted by an employee or trainer in honor of the trainers that impacted their own or their co-worker’s life and career.

eLearning Award

Demonstrate how technology has changed your credit union’s culture and enhanced training. This award goes to the credit union that has effectively incorporated technology into staff training.

Training Champion Award

This is an opportunity to applaud the vision, involvement, and leadership of senior management for their support and development of your credit union’s training initiatives.

Training Professional of the Year Award

This premier award recognizes achievements of a visionary credit union training professional or department for exceptional contributions to the learning and performance development of credit union staff.

WOW Award

Exhilarating! Uplifting! Experiential! Fun! If these words describe your training program or event, then your credit union is the ideal candidate for the WOW Award. This award is presented to the credit union with the best overall training curriculum or event – one that inspires learning, teaches skills that go beyond the classroom, and leaves participants empowered!
