Your credit union undergoes regular or special reviews called examinations conducted by your credit union’s regulator and insurer. The purpose of examinations is to assess the safety and soundness of credit unions and to determine compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In this course you’ll learn about the officials’ involvement before, during, and after an examination; the CAMEL system used to evaluate your credit union; and the examination process.
