RegTraC

RegTraC Level 2 Testing Procedures

RegTraC is a self-study program allowing students to pick a time and date for testing that best fits their busy schedule. The following guidelines have been established to help make the proctored testing process as easy as possible.

Students are required to arrange for their own proctors and test locations. During your conversation with prospective proctors, be sure to let them know you are allotted two hours to complete the exam. If you have questions or are uncertain you have found an acceptable proctor, contact RegTraC staff at 800-356-9655, ext. 4120.

An acceptable level 2 proctor may be:

  • Directors, coordinators, or their representatives at a university or junior college testing, counseling, or educational services department.
  • Registrars, deans, or professors at a university or junior college.
  • High-school principals or counselors.
  • Certified librarians in a supervisory position.
  • Local directors of educational services.
  • A designated representative from your credit union league.

After you have arranged for your proctor and exam site, you may request your exam. To ensure that your proctor receives it prior to your scheduled exam date, place your order at least four weeks prior to your scheduled exam date to allow for mailing time. To place your order, send an e-mail to Kandy Norman at knorman@cuna.coop and request the Level 2 exam for the particular module you have studied. Please include:

Your

  • Name • SSN
  • Phone number • Credit union’s name
  • Credit union address • Credit union’s ID (CUID)

Your proctor’s

  • Name • Title
  • School or business name • Mailing address
  • Phone • E-mail

It is critical that you provide all the information requested to help prevent delays in mailing your exam. You may want to save a copy of your e-mail for reference. Your exam will be mailed to the proctor you designate in your e-mail.

Testing for the Compliance Expert Certificate and the CUCE designation is also offered at the CUNA’s Regulatory Compliance Schools.
