Pricing
Purchase the six Level 2 modules as a Compliance Training Kit in hardcopy for $360, or as a
money-saving downloadable PDF for $300. Individual modules are $60 each.
Keep your modules up-to-date
Because the regulations are always changing and new laws are created, RegTraC Level 2 modules are
updated semi-annually. An annual investment of $300 ($150 per update) will provide updated material
for RegTraC modules 1 through 6 in the spring and fall of each year. Each year reminder notices will
be mailed when it's time to renew your RegTraC materials.
New information will be incorporated into replacement pages for the Level 2 modules. Each Update
packet includes:
- Dated replacement pages for modules 1 through 6 with easy to follow instructions
for inserting the new pages
- A summary of the changes including additional module section covering new laws
See an update of the NCUA Update module from September 2007.

National Recognition & Certification
To earn the Compliance Expert Certificate and designation as a Credit Union Compliance Expert
(CUCE), students are required to pass a proctored exam for each of the first five modules in this
six module series. These exams consist of 70 multiple choice and true/false questions and receive a
grade of A, B, C, or D with C the lowest passing grade. Students with an overall GPA of 3.8 will be
awarded Honors and those with a GPA of 4.0 will be awarded High Honors in recognition of their
accomplishment. The quizzes included in each module serve as great study tools when preparing for
the exams. Complete testing and proctor information is outlined in the preface section of each Level
2 module. After successfully completing all five exams, students receive the Compliance Expert
Certificate as well as their CUCE designation. Additional exam answer sheets are available for
multiple learners. To ensure that students are tested on current compliance information, exam
versions expire biannually after the release of each RegTraC Level 2 Update.
See RegTraC Testing Procedures
Testing for the Compliance Expert Certificate and the CUCE designation is also offered at the
CUNA’s Regulatory Compliance
Schools.
The regulations governing credit unions are always changing and new regulations are being added.
As compliance professionals, Level 2 students are required to recertify every three years. At that
time students must pass a proctored recertification exam covering the changes that have taken place
since their initial certification date. Plus during that three-year period, students are required to
accumulate 30 hours of continued compliance training. This training can come from a variety of
sources—CUNA (such as Regulatory Compliance School), your state credit union league, your credit
union in-house training program, and/or other providers of compliance training.
